This place is so great! All fresh homemade food from their farm. You have to try their pie, savory and sweet. It's the best pie crust I've ever had!

This place has a solid menu for sit down meals, including some fantastic Pizzas. Their cafe side of the house has a wide variety of baked goods and pies to take out or simply eat on site. Lots of outdoors seating as well. I highly recommend this place, make sure to call in to check how busy it is or reserve ahead of time as in spite of having plenty of tables, it can get busy on the week ends.

Came in for the 1st time to the bakery then the restaurant later. The bakery had good coffee and a large selection of cakes, pies, cookies and all other sorts of yummy items. I went I to the restaurant for dinner that evening and was greeted by a server who recognized us from earlier and welcomed us back. She was fantastic! The food and service were both delightful. Nice inside and out. There is a lovely outdoor seating area that would be quite nice in the summer. Price was not inexpensive but what you would expect for the quality.

Been going to the roost for years. The bigger it has gotten the more the quality has slipped. It used to be five stars but now I get cold potatoes after a long wait with mediocre service at a high price. It breaks my heart. They also used to use local what but now I watch the flour delivery from a giant commercial company early in the morning. I think the owner is looking more to making money then making his business the best it could be. I miss the roost....

It's a great place to grab a coffee and a bite and then wander around the property. Lots of nice sitting areas both inside and out. Flour is made in house and grown on the property. Lots of in house baked goods as well as soups and sandwiches which can be ordered and picked up at the deli counter. Service was slow at the counter both occasions but worth the wait.
